Yes, all Amoré Kitchenware products can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

We use ceramic nonstick coating that is 100% PTFE and PFOA free so no harmful chemicals or pollutants are released even when the pan is placed over high heat. This ceramic coat is 2-3 times tougher than Teflon and will not fade or peel.

Our pans feature a nano ceramic coating that is tougher than most nonstick coatings, such as Teflon, and can be used with metal utensils and will remain scratch free. However, to prolong the life of the pan, it is recommended that you use plastic, coated, nylon or wooden utensils. Avoid using sharp instruments or appliances such as electric mixers to cut, chop, release or whip foods in any nonstick pan. Such use may damage the nonstick finish.

No, our pans should not be placed in the oven because the Bakelite handle cannot tolerate baking in the oven.

Hand washing, using a non-abrasive nylon scrubber and some dish soap and warm water will safely clean any nonstick pan. For proper care, as with any cookware, it’s always important to keep your nonstick cookware clean for consistent, quality performance. Any food residue or leftover grease will cook into the surface and carbonize, causing food to stick. The cooked-on residue is hard to see and even more difficult to remove, so wash carefully and thoroughly every time.
